The Everest Base Camp Trek begins and ends in Lukla, following the Dudh Koshi River through Sagarmatha National Park. The trail leads to Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub and key acclimatization stop in the Everest region. The trek is challenging, but lush forests, terraced fields, hills, and mountain scenery make the journey inspiring. After a day of acclimatization in Namche, the trek continues onward to Tengboche.
