Booking & Payment

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your trek/expedition.

• Remaining balance is payable in Kathmandu before the trip begins.

• For Bhutan, Tibet, or India trips, 100% advance payment may be required.

Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellation charges apply depending on how close to the departure date you cancel.

• No refunds for cancellations within 15 days of departure, or if you leave a trip after it has started.

• Flight tickets (domestic/international) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Itinerary Changes

• Routes may change due to weather, natural disasters, strikes, flight delays, or health/safety concerns.

• We always provide the best possible alternatives, but we are not liable for extra costs.

Insurance

• Comprehensive travel & medical insurance is mandatory.

• Must include medical care, accidents, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and high-altitude helicopter rescue.

• Rescue insurance is not available in Nepal—please arrange it in your home country.

Liability & Responsibility

• We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by events beyond our control.

• Clients must follow the guidance of trek leaders and respect safety protocols.

Environmental & Cultural Respect

• We practice Leave No Trace principles.

• Clients are expected to respect local culture, traditions, and communities.

Trekking Policies in Nepal

• Licensed Guide Mandatory (since April 2023) – solo trekking without a guide is not allowed.

• TIMS Card required for most regions (NPR 2,000 per trekker).

• Restricted Area Permits apply to certain regions, with special rules and fees.

• National Park & Conservation Permits are required (USD 20–30 depending on the area).

• Local municipalities (e.g., Everest region) may charge additional entry fees.

Expedition Policies

• Expeditions to high peaks require special permits, licensed guides, approved itineraries, and compliance with government regulations.
